FXRP is Flare Network's wrapped, 1:1-backed representation of XRP, minted through Flare's FAssets system after native XRP is collateralized on the XRP Ledger side — its listing on Hyperliquid marked the first time XRP-denominated spot exposure became directly tradable on the exchange, since Hyperliquid's own XRP market is a perpetual rather than a spot pair. FXRP is designed to move across chains as a LayerZero omnichain token and, in principle, to be redeemable back to native XRP through Flare's system, but that redemption path depends on the FAssets collateralization mechanism holding up rather than being a simple custodial guarantee. Because it's a wrapped-asset structure layered on top of a separate network's collateral system, FXRP carries protocol and bridge risk in addition to XRP's own price volatility — a different risk profile than trading XRP itself on a native XRP Ledger venue. Spot depth on this Hyperliquid pair is worth confirming on its own, given it's a newer listing than Hyperliquid's established markets.
